Care works on WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and hand-built sites. Tell us the address at checkout and monitoring starts as soon as you pay.

  1. Tell us your siteAt checkout we ask for the address, what it’s built with, and whether you have the admin logins. If you don’t, we’ll help you find them.
  2. Monitoring startsUptime checks, the security scan and the PageSpeed test begin the moment you pay.
  3. We get set upOnce you add us as a user, we take a first backup, add Site Stats, and fix anything urgent the first scan found.
  4. Then every monthUpdates, backups, your edits, and a report showing all of it.

On Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and Webflow, the platform runs software updates and server backups itself. On those we export your content each month instead; everything else is the same.

Good to know

What counts as an edit?

Small changes to what’s already there: text, prices, hours, photos, a new section on a page, a new blog post we format for you. A new page or a redesign is a bigger job; we’ll quote it first so there are no surprises.

What if I don’t use all my edit time?

It resets each month and doesn’t roll over. Monitoring, scans, updates, backups and your report keep going either way.

What happens if my site goes down?

We check every 15 minutes. Two failed checks in a row and we’re alerted, you get an email, and we start fixing it. If the problem is with your hosting company, we deal with them for you where we can.

Do you need my passwords?

For updates, backups and edits we need an admin account. We’ll ask you to add us as a user rather than share your own login, so you can remove our access any time.

Can I switch plans or cancel?

Yes. Cancel online from your client portal; your plan ends when the paid month runs out. To switch between Care and Care Plus, just ask and we’ll change it from your next bill.
