What a cleaning costs without insurance, and how to save

Costs · August 28 · Written by the Pine Street team

Real numbers for our office, and three ways to pay less for routine care.

What we charge

A new-patient exam, cleaning and X-rays is $99 at our office when you don’t have insurance. A routine cleaning and exam after that is $129.

Our in-house savings plan

For $29 a month you get two cleanings and exams a year, X-rays, and 20% off other treatment. There’s no deductible and no waiting period.

Use your HSA or FSA

Dental care counts as a qualified expense, so you can pay with pre-tax money if you have either account.

Questions about your own situation? Call us or book a visit. We’re happy to talk it through.
