Strips, trays or in-office: which whitening is worth it?

Whitening · August 9 · Written by the Pine Street team

An honest comparison of cost, time and results, from people who do all three.

Store-bought strips

Cheapest and fine for light staining. Results fade faster and the strips don’t reach every tooth evenly.

Custom trays

We make trays that fit your teeth exactly and give you professional gel. Two weeks of wear at home, and you can touch up for years with the same trays.

In-office whitening

The fastest: about 90 minutes in the chair. Best before a wedding or photos. Some people get short-term sensitivity, which we plan for.
